About Jaimee

I am a kindhearted&responsible young woman. I graduated UB with a degree in communication disorders &sciences. I currently work as an ABA Therapist (Behavioral Specialist) for children with special needs. ABA therapy occurs in the natural environment which helps us understand how behavior works, how behavior is affected by the environment&how learning takes place. ABA goals are to increase language&communication skills, improve attention, focus, social skills, motor skills, memory&academics. We also work on decreasing negative behaviors by discovering what triggers it&reinforcing positive behaviors. ABA was created for children with special needs but is truly useful for any child to grow&learn. In my own free time, I love going to the gym&staying active! Children love me because I give off a gentle, friendly &calm vibe, that makes anyone around me feel safe&comfortable. My happiness comes from knowing I make a difference in any child's life, helping them grow&learn while enjoying it!
