My experience with special needs mostly has occurred in my pre-school classrooms, and with my daughter who was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. While my specialty is care taking and education of children birth- 3rd grade, I have experience assisting and care taking for an elderly gentleman with MS, over the course of three years. I helped him with his garden/ wash the dog/ clean/ cook/ set up the sail boat/ assist him in getting in and out of the boat & vehicle/ organized paperwork etc. I'm a natural caretaker and enjoy enabling others to fully live life. I hold a Masters in Early Childhood Education, and a Bachelors in Art- I'm a certified Montessori teacher and yoga instructor.
