About Jailyn

I have at least 5 years of experience babysitting children due to being a young aunt and taking care of my brothers children (now ages 9, 10, and 13). Part of us having a good and productive time together came from the relationship I built with my nieces and nephews by earning their trust that everything I assist or encourage them to do will always be for their benefit. I learned from my mother who's taught/tutored children for over 35 years. For 15 years until she retired in 2020, she's taught pre K 3 and 4 as head teacher at the local daycare in my hometown in NJ. I spent many years helping, assisting, and observing my mothers nurturing skills after school and during summers. I'm also a dancer and have been a dance teacher and summer camp counselor at my local dance studio for almost 8 years. So I know how to facilitate a safe space for kids while also letting them have fun! We can always talk about what you need from me in addition to being a caregiver.
