Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with both children and adults with disabilities, which has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. My journey in this field has provided me with invaluable insights, skills, and a profound understanding of the unique challenges and strengths associated with disabilities. One of the most significant aspects of my experience has been learning to appreciate the individuality of each person I work with. Whether I am supporting a child with autism or an adult with a physical disability, I have found that each individual has their own strengths, preferences, and areas where they need support. I have developed the ability to assess these needs through direct observation, communication, and collaboration with families and other professionals.
