About Jade

I started working with kids when I was about 13 years old. My parents had my brother and I young, compared to the rest of their friends, so I had the joy and the honor of being able to babysit/nanny most of my little "cousins." Watching them grow and feeling proud of the wonderful kiddos they've turned out to be has been one of the most rewarding things. I am a third year student at CBU, and a DONA trained pregnancy and birth doula :) I'm looking for a job that will accommodate my school schedule, & will provide me with an environment to learn and be curious in. I hope to build trusting relationships with families, especially as a new working doula. In my spare time, I love to line dance with friends! I'm also a huge film nerd and a big fan of good music. In covid I lost a lot of my hobbies, so when I started college and found line dancing, I was so happy to have something that made me feel proud of myself & to have fun in!
