I have been babysitting ever since I was 13. I started out watching my cousins, neighbors and some of the children I went to church with. When I started high school I was a cheerleader and my activities director needed a babysitter so I offered and after that multiple teachers at my high school were getting word of what a great babysitter I was. I started babysitting for many teachers and their friends and still to this day I they request my services. When I got my first job I worked at lifetime fitness in the child center. I was responsible for children ages 3months to 12 years. It gave me such great experience and insight on how to handle kids and work with them at every age. In the summer of 2011 I got a job at Edina kids club. I worked hands on with first through third grade and one on one with special needs children and I enjoyed every minute of it. I was responsible for keeping count of 30-40 kids at a time. Some of the tasks I would create on a daily basis was crafts for the children and getting them involved in games and sports. I also had to learn how to discipline properly. Now I would say I have mastered being a fun outgoing person while still be respected.
