About Jade

I'm a passionate and experienced teacher with more than 20 years of teaching experience working with grades pre-K-12. I have a Bachelor's degree in Community Health and an Associate in Early Childhood Education. My expertise is in connecting with students who struggle in traditional educational settings. I believe that learning should be engaging, low stress, and meet the students where they are. I incorporate mindfulness and breathing techniques into sessions to help students gain confidence and lower stress. I am dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals while showing them that learning is a process that can be enjoyed. I can help with weekly homework assignments and projects. I also teach organization skills that can help students be successful in school and life. My favorite areas of study: are writing, reading, health/science, & history In my free time, I enjoy reading, practicing yoga, and walking with my dog Blue.
