Not to be dramatic but Jade changed our lives. We hired her when my son was 6 months old and she’s been with us through his first birthday. The ONLY reason I’m writing this reference is because Jade is leaving south Florida to be closer to her family. Yes, I have thought of holding her hostage. In terms of childcare, Jade is the most caring, calm, patient caregiver. She is incredibly competent, fluent in all things baby, and an excellent communicator. Her natural artistic gift allows her think of creative ways to play and learn. She’s taught my son sign language. She’s expanded his palette. She knows what is required developmentally from one stage to the next. We are kept up to date on his day through a shared note which leaves no detail out (down to poopy diapers). I never have any concern that Jade’s attention is fully dedicated to my son. Also, the way Jade helped us pack for a trip should be highlighted as a skill set on its own- it was incredibly thorough with everything labeled and well thought out for every scenario. My son adores her, we adore her, and I can say with certainty her next family will adore her too.
