About Jade

I like working with kids because it's something that comes easy to me. I grew up with multiple siblings. Two of which had autism and they were always teaching me new lessons, and helping me develop the skills and traits that make me, who I am. I started working with kids when I was younger than 10. For the most part they were family members and friends. I've taken care of children ranging from just a couple weeks old to 17 years old. I was the primary care giver to my two younger brothers. One of them has high functioning autism and the other has developmental delays. I did everything from changing diapers to making bottles, helping with homework to craft activities, making dinner to reading bedtime stories, and so much more. I have many skills but my strongest are patience, responsibility, and the ability to communicate. I also have my own transportation, I'm CPR certified, I can help out with household chores and I'm comfortable with the responsibility of animals.
