Hello! I'm Jade:) I am a Sacramento native who relocated here to the East Bay in January of 2017. My passion for children comes directly from my large family. I am the second oldest of 7 and, ever since my first baby brother at age 6, I've always loved being a big sister and thought becoming a nanny would be an equally rewarding experience. People who know me best would describe me as easy going but goal oriented. I believe you get out what you put in. I think analytically and am usually the problem solver of a group but I have a creative side as well. I love to paint as well as write poetry and short stories. Arts and crafts projects are some of my favorite activities to do with little ones. Some other favorites are baking, dress up, board games, nature walks and trips to the park. I like to fill the day with more social or creative activity and play rather than TV or screen time, though I do think the occasional movie night with popcorn and a blanket fort is necessary too .

Jade has watched my two children a few times now, and I would highly recommend her. My children are 4 and 2 years old, and they just love having Jade babysit. She connects really well with them, and they are comfortable with her. She plays, draws, plays tag outside, and is active and engaged with the children. I have had her come early in the morning and also late in the day and she has been here no problem. She is a wonderful babysitter who my children look forward to having.
