After a two years of working as a paraprofessional, I can say that I'm happy with my work because it's rewarding despite the many challenges. It's at the school, more than in any other professional setting, that I can see the impact I make in others' lives. I understand the needs and emotions children this age deal with, and I've always enjoyed being around kids.
