About Jacquelynn

My name is Jacquelynn, but I generally go by Jacque or Jax. This is my first time using a site like this, but I have been working as babysitter/mommy's helper since I was 12 years old. Starting in high school, I have taken up several jobs in childcare or working with children for almost 10 years. This includes daycare worker, tutor, and substitute teacher; with kids ranging from 3 months old to 18 years old. I recently moved to Chicago for Graduate school. I wanted to take some of the free time I have and dedicate it to doing something I love. I've always enjoyed working with children, and I like to consider myself to be fun, energetic, and creative in any position I've taken up. In my spare time, I like to write and read, and explore different projects, like sewing, origami, and graphic design. I'm able to prepare meals, do light housekeeping, plan activities, and help with homework. I have first aid experience from previous work, but I hope to get CPR certified soon.
