About Jacob

Hello! I'm Jacob. An experienced manny and/or family assistant looking to connect with a Manhattan family for the 24/25 school year (September start date). Ages 4 and up, 35 hr/wk max (flexible). I'm a SoCal native who loves theatre, cooking, traveling, and hiking! I have six years of experience working and assistant teaching in CA public school and NYC independent school settings, including special education. I've had the privilege to work and learn alongside skilled veteran educators in an array of different subjects and classes. Additionally, I have experience working in private childcare and personal/administrative assistant roles the past four years. I received my BA in Psychology from CUNY City College w/ the bulk of my course work being in child development, psychology, and play therapy. I am CPR/First Aid trained and certified and have a valid NY Driver's License. Happy to share my resume and list of references who can speak towards my skills and experience.
