About Jacob

Hi, I'm Jake! I am a fun-loving and active man, happily engaged to my wonderful fiancé. Together, we share our lives with our energetic 3-year-old Australian Labradoodle. My passion for working with children is reflected in my extensive experience in public education in NYC, New Hampshire and here in Grand Rapids, both as a teaching aide and as a teacher of the performing arts. Working in Public Schools, I provided comprehensive support and guidance to eighth-grade students, focusing on enhancing their skills in reading, language arts, mathematics, and computer literacy. I have educated and nurtured over 30 students at a time, of all ages, covering a comprehensive curriculum that included theatre history, acting, and musical theatre techniques. Beyond my educational experience, I am also adept at healthy cooking and cleaning, ensuring a well-maintained and organized home environment. I have a car and license for errands, contributing to a smooth-running household.
