About Jacob

As a seasoned overnight camp counselor and certified goofball, I pride myself on acting as the older brother who sparks fun and joy. While whole-heartedly welcoming a child to be exactly who they are, I recognize patience and empathy as the key to safely and appropriately developing mutual trust and emotional security with a child. I have worked as a camp counselor for 6 seasons spanning the US from New York, to the Carolina's, and California. These positions have varied widely in age range and primary roles and responsibilities. From 8 to 18, I have acted as a counselor, mentor, care giver, educator, lifeguard, and driver in a multitude of public and private settings. Additionally, I have worked as a newborn photographer, and recently, a tour director for historical student trips along the East Coast and recreational adult tours throughout the national parks of the SouthWest.
