I am currently a special education teacher with Baltimore county public schools. I previously worked as an applied behavioral analysis therapist working at a school in Owings Mills for children on the Autism spectrum. I absolutely love my job and the kids that I work with. Being able to first hand see the growth that my kids make on a daily basis is just one of the amazing things I do at my job. I am looking to provide at home services to help parents out, because I know how difficult working with a child on the spectrum can be at sometimes. In addition to being an ABA therapist my senior college internship was working at the Baltimore Lab School with students on the spectrum and other students with disorders such as ADD and ADHD. I also have experience with children who are sick; I volunteered at the John's Hopkins Childrens Center on the pediatric infant and toddler unit where I shadowed the on site Child life specialist. I am currently in graduate school.
