Hello! My name is Jaclyn. I graduated from the university of Iowa with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I was a teacher for 7 years but have made the switch to nannying since the start of COVID. I spent my teaching career working on military bases all over the world. I have taught all across the grade ranges from CDC classrooms (0-5yrs) up to 6th graders (12yrs). Over the years I've gained a plethora of knowledge in childcare and enjoy working with kids of all ages-and each age is so unique and full of their own fun traits! I have an infinite amount of songs and games I'd love to share again! My teaching philosophy is centered around active and outdoor learning. I was a PE teacher for 5 years and I love seeing children running, climbing, and exploring their environment. I am looking for part time work and have a flexible schedule.
