About Jacklyn

Hello! I graduated with my associate's degree in the Art of Teaching. I am currently working to fulfill the bachelor's degree requirements to receive state licensure at TAMUT. I have a 4. 0 GPA and dedicate myself heavily to helping students achieve their learning goals. In the past, I have taught adult basic education (GED, college prep tests, and other foundational literacy skills), co-created and coordinated an afterschool reading program, taught high-school Spanish I, and taught in a middle school math intervention classroom. In my own educational journey, I have served as Student Government Association President at Texarkana College, created an SGA Executive Board Scholarship for future members, and received an Educational Leadership Foundations award with the Texas Association of Future Educators.
