About Jackie

My name is Jackie! I am a parent-led, child-guided babysitter/nanny. I believe in following parent's/guardian's policies and expectations, but so long as the activities do, I encourage the child to guide our time to foster independence and follow their interests and passions. I'm not the type of babysitter that pops on a movie and sits on my phone - or one that shoves all sorts of toys and videos in their face, I watch what draws their attention and follow that. I am hands-on, engaged in their world. I am comfortable with pets (especially cats!), light cleaning, and cooking. I studied psychology, social work, and child development. I currently volunteer in the nursery of my church. I worked in a group home with adults with disabilities for two years and have experience managing multiple clients with varying needs, cleaning, cooking, and driving. I currently work at Costco, though have a relatively regular and predictable schedule.
