About Jack

My personality could be described as creative, patient, and energetic! As cliché as it sounds, kids are the future! I love working with kids because they remind us what really matters--watching them grow and learn gives me lots of hope. As a grad student life gets crazy with papers and readings so meeting me halfway with scheduling is important! That said, my classes are always in the evening. As the oldest sibling, I'm a lifelong sitter! Since then, I've babysat throughout high school and college, and worked with some crazy third graders (and crazier first graders!) at an after school program. Most recently I spent a summer at a Montessori school. In my spare time, I like to hangout with my golden retriever, Arlo! Otherwise you can find me running around Brooklyn, playing some piano, or exploring the city! One thing you should know about me is I always center whatever I do in social justice values of love and acceptance. I always try to foster safe spaces for all.
