About Ivy

My name is Ivy and I'm from Washington State. I recently moved from New York to the Bay Area for graduate school in Elementary Education. Before moving here to pursue this graduate program, I lead a youth program at a community center in Manhattan and have years of education and childcare experience in and out of the classroom. Empowering kids to be independent, creative and critical thinkers is really important to me. Spending time with kids makes me more insightful, more creative and more imaginative. In my free time and also while I am nannying, I love to cook, do art, dance, go for walks, and play dress up! I've worked with kids of all ages and am a lifelong teacher and learner.
