I am the second oldest out of 4 brothers, as an older sister I was required to help around the home including the duties of child care. During my high school years after school I'd Volunteered at kawana elementary school k-6 after school program where kids had the opportunity of staying after school for 3-4hrs getting assistance with homework & practicing social skills. During the summer of my high school years I had a small daycare of 12kids age range from 3m-15yrs old. I had a structured routine for each one of them depending on individual, I personally rather do outdoor activities with my kids such as reading, writing, painting, gardening, sports etc. I'm not huge on technology unless really needed when it comes to children, I'd like to think outdoor sensory is much needed.
