About Ismenea
I have a B.A. in Communications (Journalism) from Universidad del Sagrado Corazon, in Puerto Rico. Although I worked as a Travel Journalist in a national newspaper in San Juan, my passion is to help others in needs, special kids, teenagers, or elderly people. I was a Spanish and art teacher (high school, intermediate, and elementary grades) for several years in Puerto Rico. I have a credit transcript from the university and copy of Department of Education Provisional License are available.

Ismenea tutored our 2nd and 5th grade boys in Spanish for 2 hours per day during our 2-week stay in Puerto Rico. She did a great job - very professional and good at motivating the kids too (she is a certified elementary Spanish teacher). Her tutoring really helped them improve their Spanish writing and get up to grade level in grammar, as well as steadily engaging them in Spanish conversation throughout. Our kids are native speakers but their Spanish had gotten a bit rusty during a year in the US, and Ismenea's tutoring helped get them back on track.
