About Ismenea

I worked in Florida as a Parents Educator. As part of my job, I visited families and taught parents how to help their kids to develop their social, intellectual, motor and language skills in the preparation for kindergarten. I moved back to Puerto Rico in 2011. With a B. A. in Communications, I worked as a travel journalist for a major newspaper in the Caribbean and as an Elementary and Intermediate Spanish School Teacher for most of my life. Also I have CPR, Red Cross Lifeguard and NAUI License for open water diving. I love to teach young kids how to swim and make them feel safe in the water. But my major success in life is being a mother of a very kind 17 years old teenager. She has a great heart and good feelings towards all living creatures. I believe that parents are the first natural teachers and I am a very proud mom that loves to take care and have fun with kids! I love outdoor activities, kayaking, reading, arts and crafts, candle and soap making and scrapbooks!
