About Isla

I'm happy to introduce myself as your potential childcare provider! With over three years of professional experience, I am confident in my ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment for your children. I've worked at a before-and-after care Montessori program for grades K-8, and taught 18mo-5yr at a Montessori preschool. This past year I have spent babysitting for families part-time. I'm looking for a more consistent job in childcare. In addition to hands-on experience, I have completed coursework in Early Childhood Education and Development. Working in Montessori has given me valuable instruction on the teaching style; much of that philosophy informs my style of childcare. I believe in honest communication and keeping you informed about your child's day is a priority. I would describe myself as patient, energetic, and creative. From outdoor sports and physical games to board games and puzzles, I enjoy a wide range of activities that keep children entertained and engaged.
