About Isabell

Howdy there! I'm Isabella, a freshman at Washington University in St. Louis majoring in Planetary Science, Astrophysics, and Biology. I know that's a mouthful, but to put it simply, I'm a nerd for space and astrobiology. To get to the point, however, I fell in love with childcare when I volunteered to work with pre-school, elementary, and middle school students to boost state testing scores. Nevertheless, I found that I greatly enjoyed working with young learners who needed a bit more support than the average kid. By working with these students, I've learned the importance of inciting passion for exploration. Every child should feel nurtured, confident, and proud in their abilities to grow. The best way to do this is to foster children's natural inclination to play and develop in a safe manner, making learning a joy, not a chore.
