Isabelle nannied for us from Oct 21 to our now 8 month old son who was born 27 weeks premature. Isabelle was very pleasant and our son loved her and we had no concerns until I replayed our nanny cam and saw that Izzy left him unattended several times while on the changing table and putting her feet on all the things that he puts his mouth on including his toys. Me being the forgiving and educator that I am we decided to give her another chance. However, what is now concerning of “intentionality” is the fact that she worked 2 days after this and quit without any notice because “finding another job.” She signed a contract to give a 2 weeks resignation to which she did not. I am not saying that she is a bad person but when someone quits without notice after having a conversation about safety and well being it definitely raises some red flags.
