I currently have 3 years of experience working with special needs. I worked for 2 years in an elementary functional skills classroom working one on one with students and assisting them with daily needs in both the functional skills classroom and general ED classroom. I am now currently working at a school for special needs adults. I work in the BCIS unit focusing mainly on daily living skills and behavioral management skills. I was peer tutor for all three years of high school and loved it! I have been CPR and First Aide certified. I have a willingness to learn and can catch onto things quickly!
