I've always had a passion for caring for children. Growing up as the oldest girl of five siblings, I naturally assumed the caregiver role. I believe children deserve an environment that fosters creativity and skill development to whatever calls naturally to them, child-led learning outside of the classroom. I have the patience and confidence to help teach them life skills like cooking or cleaning up after themselves. I am patient, calm, creative, imaginative, fun, and positive, yet I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules. I believe open communication with parents is key, ensure verbal communication at pickup and send texts throughout the day if that is what the parent wishes. With one year of experience caring for children, I'm comfortable caring for up to two children of varying ages. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports, board games, and educational games that promote learning.
