About Isabella

For the past 8 months, I have worked as an after-school art teacher in Downtown Brooklyn. I help create an array of projects based on living, contemporary artists. I regularly work with children ages 5-11 and especially excel with 1:1 art tutoring. I went to art school, so I love gallery and museum visits, or any creative activity! Before teaching, I worked with children of all ages during my time as a whitewater rafting guide and a cultural specialist at a museum in my hometown. These roles prepared me for the fast-paced environments of childcare, but also the rewards of sharing your time and experience with a child to make moments in their life special and safe. I'm the oldest sibling, with two younger sisters and a younger brother. I enjoy working with kids because they are perceptive and curious. They continually teach me patience and in many ways, inspire my creative practice. I would love to connect about potential meetings or ways I can connect with your child!
