About Isabella

My name is Isa. I am back home for the summer after completing my third year of college where I am pursuing a degree in Fashion Design. I have 5 years of experience working with children. I am an instructor for the Handwork Studio at Sidwell Friends School where I led children ages 8-17 in experiential and hands-on learning through programs in apparel construction, sewing, and styling. Before that I worked at Camp Dark Waters as a camp counselor for two years (a residential Quaker camp) where I planned and executed creative activities for groups of up to 120 participants on a daily basis. Provided emotional support to campers. I was also directly responsible for the wellbeing of 10-15 campers at a time. Over the years, I have worked as a babysitter for family friends. I am very comfortable working with children between the ages of 6-15+. I enjoy making art, crafting, hiking, playing guitar, and cooking. I have a clean driving record and I'm bilingual in Spanish.
