I grew up with 3 dogs and in the last 3 years, I took care of my very elderly dog, Rowan, who required a lot of attention: baths, medication, and frequent walks. I have always found animals to have an irreplaceable presence which I really connect to and admire. I now have a lovely cat in New York and I am always excited to visit home where my parents have a border collie, Dash, and a Cavalier King Charles who I grew up with, Lucy.
