My name is Bella and I have 5 years experience working with school-age kids, pets, and children with special needs. Teaching, engaging and playing are my passions, whether that be with your furry companion or your child. I'd describe my personality as bubbly, positive and funny. I'm an environmental science major at Kent State University, and my passion and love for nature and animals has been one that I've held since birth. I love all types of animals, furry, scaly or feathered. I started caring for people with special needs when I worked as an aid at school and I felt such a strong connection and deep understanding with the kids I tutored. I started doing in-home care where I fostered a great connection with children and watching them grow and develop over years. I will bring crafts and activities with me for the kids to play and engage with.

Bella worked for my family for a year and a half. There is so much to say about how well she took care of my son B, who is 13 now and has autism (non-verbal). I've entrusted her to pick B up from school, run errands for him, and given her a key to the house so that she could take care of B for the evening. She assisted with all his daily chores and activities, including bathing and meal preparation. She finds meaningful activities to engage B and he has even assisted with him gaining some independence. We were no longer in need of her services, due to B's independence skills and availability of his insurance to cover respite aides. I would highly recommend Bella to assist with children that have special needs, she is super attentive and easy to work with. Upon request, Bella may give my information for a professional reference. I'm happy to help this young lady find her next family to work with.
