About Isabel

Hi there! I'm Isabel! I'm currently a sophomore at Texas State university majored in education. I've dedicated the last four years to nurturing children's growth and a safe space for children to strive. My prior childcare experiences includes my student teaching internship for 2 years while also babysitting on the side and being a camp counselor for 2 years. While student teaching, babysitting, and being a camp counselor I've worked with up to 30 children in a variety of ages from 4 to 13-year-olds and am first aid and CPR certified. I prioritize open communication with parents and providing updates through their preferred method. I'm also comfortable enforcing household rules to ensure a safe and structured environment. I enjoy a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports, board games, and educational games and am willing to help any way I can. Including preparing meals, helping with homework, and maintaining a positive and friendly environment.
