About Isabel

Hi, my name is Izzi! I recently moved back to Bellingham from Seattle. I hold a masters degree from UW and undergrad degree from WWU. I am a CPR and First Aid Instructor and Wilderness First Responder Certified. Previously, I've worked in a variety of roles such as a Kayak Guide, Seattle Parks City Wide Lead Environmental Educator, Maritime High School Education Coordinator, Research and Teaching Assistant, Nanny, Summer Camp Facilitator at Northwest Indian College, and Americorp Environmental Educator at Padilla Bay NERR. When I have the privilege to connect with tots (2-4), kiddos (5-13) and youth (13-25), we often enjoy playing games, making lots of art, connecting with nature, making tasty food, and laughing a lot! I pride myself as a creative, patient, compassionate, adaptive, trauma-informed, and responsible child care provider. I am also a skilled tutor and can support with housekeeping, and animal care.
