About Isabela

Hi! My name is Isabela and I'm a Chilean woman born and raised in California. I speak Spanish and French fluently, and I love crafting and the outdoors! I graduated from Boston University in 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a teaching credential. I've taught kids of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds in elementary schools, art-focused preschools, and the outdoors. I also have Wilderness First Responder and CPR certifications. Aside from formal jobs, I have taken care of kids on and off for 13 years through tutoring, babysitting, and au pair work. I love working with kids and feel lucky to be a part of their growth! Since moving to the Bay in 2019 I've worked at Presidio Hill School, Vida Verde Nature Education, and Environmental Traveling Companions (ETC). I'm currently in between jobs, looking for the next step in my career. While I search for my next full-time commitment, I'm excited to be a positive, caring, and fun part of your child's life!
