About Irma

Irma was a tremendous help to our family for 6 months, and we plan to continue to hire her for help as-needed in the future. This was our first time hiring a nanny and we lucked out with Irma. She has experience caring for children of all ages, from newborn to older kids. It was also important for us to hire a bilingual nanny to introduce Spanish words, phrases, and songs to our child, and she did! Our toddler learned to walk, talk, eat with cutlery, and dance all with the help of Irma on a regular basis. Our toddler's days would be filled with fun activities, such as playing outside, going on walks, reading books, or dancing to music. Some of Irma's strongest skills/attributes include building a child's communication, keeping the child safe as they navigate wobbly first steps, and attentiveness to the child's needs, such as hunger, thirst, and tiredness. Irma always prioritized our child and never allowed phone calls/texts to distract her from our child's attention. She was always on-time and did an excellent job reporting notes about eating, diaper changes, naps, new words or skills, and more, throughout the day and before leaving each day. She would send me pictures of our toddler during fun/cute moments, which was special. Trust is extremely important and we believe that Irma is a trustworthy, caring, experienced nanny who can take gracious care of any child, just as she did with ours. Irma also helped with light housework during naptimes, which made our lives easier after work days. Once our toddler showed signs of readiness for school, we decided to pursue that route for additional exposure to new skills and development; however, we plan to hire Irma for future baby-sitting jobs, whether it be for date-nights or appointments when we need additional care. We completely recommend Irma!
