I am accomplished and result-driven professional. I have HHA certificate and providing home-based care for a wide range of senior patients. My patients were 75-98 years old with a range of health concerns. At my previous employers main responsibility was: assisting the residents with personal care including giving them a bath, grooming, dressing and eating. Following prescribed healthcare plan and assisting them with exercise and administering medication. Providing mobility assistance such as helping the clients in and out of chairs, beds, or wheelchair. Providing emotional support to the elders at home and outside. Transporting or escorting the clients to medical and other appointment. Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and needs of the residents. As my experience has grown, I have come to understand the signs that someone requires a further medical intervention, mental health support or simply someone to talk to as they are a little lonely.
