I am writing this letter of recommendation for my family s former health aide Irene. For 5 years, Irene watched my ailing grandmother. My grandmother was bedridden with many ailments including Alzheimer s, Dementia, seizures & towards the end, required a feeding tube. Irene took care of my grandmother with such great detail, sensitivity & love. She even learned how to speak Croatian so she can communicate with. She administered medicines to my grandmother, cooked daily meals for her, washed her daily & did many other household chores. The care that Irene provided contributed greatly to the quality of life of my grandma during the years of 2005-2010. Quite honestly, if it wasn't for Irene my grandma wouldn't have lasted that long in someone else s care. Irene became part of the family & even trusted her in watching my 2 young sons. Irene is truly a wonderful person and care taker. We were so lucky & fortunate to have found Irene. Nowadays, it is truly difficult to find a quality care taker whom provides special care, great love, passion for their work and above all, that can be trusted. Irene is a jewel of a woman whom I would recommend to anyone that wants superior care.
