About Irene

Hi! I'm Irene, founder of the Caitríona Irish Dance school here in Denver. With this, I run after-school programs in the afternoons and weekly classes in the evenings, so I'm looking for a part-time nannying position to fill my mornings! From the Boys & Girls Club, to teaching 4th and 5th grade English, to nannying, to teaching Irish dance, I have been working professionally in education and childcare for 10 years (2 years in Chile and 8 years in the US). I Irish danced competitively for 20 years, assistant-taught for 10 of those years, and finally opened my own school in August 2024! I am CPR/First Aid certified, TEFL certified, SafeSport certified, Safe Environment Training certified, and TCRG certified through the CLRG Irish Dancing Commission. I have my CBI-approved fingerprints as well as my ASURINT and FASTRAX background checks. I'm thrilled to start nannying again because I truly love coming up with enrichment activities and exploring the outdoors with the kiddos!
