Hi! I'm Irene. I am an Irish dance teacher and I am thrilled to offer my Irish Dance Homeschool Enrichment Program, Ceili Club. Irish dance has been my passion since I was 5 years old and my goal is to share that passion with younger generations through a program that is accessible, inclusive, and fun! From the Boys & Girls Club, to teaching English in 4th and 5th grade classrooms, to nannying, to teaching Irish dance, I have been working professionally in education and childcare for 10 years (2 years in Chile and 8 years in the US). I have been Irish dancing for over 20 years and have taught Irish dance to all ages and levels in English and Spanish. I am CPR certified, SafeSport certified, and TCRG certified through the world's oldest and largest Irish Dancing Commission: An Coimisiun Le Rinci Gaelacha. I am a three-time world qualifier and have competed all over the world, including in Argentina, Scotland, and Ireland.
