Hi, I'm Irene! I am fully bilingual and a daughter of Venezuelan educators. I go by the Spanish pronunciation of my name: eed-EN-eh :-) I started as a childcare provider when I was 16 years old, and think kids are the best coworkers around. For the past 11 years, I've supported young people from pre-K through college as a caregiver, coach, teaching assistant, policy researcher and youth program director. My approach is trauma-responsive and arts-based as well as neurodiversity and LGBTQ+ affirming.
