About Irasema

Beginning at 18 years old, I worked at a Montessori School and taught ages 2months-3 years. I met two amazing families during my time as a teacher there and I continued to nanny/babysit for them for 8 years. I studied Early Childhood Education in college and earned a degree in ECE. After, I became a kindergarten teacher then a curriculum director for a private preschool. I'm looking for a full time position as an educator/caregiver. This means not only will I fulfill the tasks and responsibilities of a babysitter/nanny but I will also prepare intentional lessons and age appropriate activities based on where the children are developmentally. I will focus on creating a consistent routine and a schedule that will incorporate learning math, literacy, social and emotional development, physical development, creative play, art, music, science, and social studies. I love teaching children about themselves, others and the world and learning should be an everyday and fun activity at any age.
