About Iniya

I have always loved working with children because of their curiosity, creativity, and the joy they bring to everyday moments. Babysitting allows me to build meaningful connections with kids, support their growth, and create a safe, nurturing environment where they feel heard, valued, and encouraged to express themselves. My journey in childcare began at 17, babysitting my younger cousins and siblings. In June 2022, I started volunteering while in school. By January 2023, I transitioned into a full-time role and continue working there today. I have experience caring for children from infancy to 10 years old and can also style children's hair, including braids, twists, retwists, and more. I am CPR and first aid certified, knowledgeable in children's hygiene and potty training, and can assist with homework and early learning. I also have experience supporting children with autism and helping them navigate their emotions in a positive way.
