I enjoy working with children. I like to keep children busy in a variety of ways. In the past 14 years I had my own day care and before that I worked at a Montessori school. I'd describe my personality as patient, compassionate, curious I feel that a caregiver should make children feel good about themselves; to give them good self-condifence. I taught children things to prepare them on their development path. For four and 5-year-olds, I teach them counting, coloring, cut-out techniques, alphabet and digits. For two and 3-year-olds, I like to tell them stories and letting them hear rhymes. Also, I try to let them arrange and sort items. I introduce them to concepts like colors and shapes. For children younger than 2 years, I like to show them pictures and tell them what it's called. I like to sing them songs, and let them play and develop tactile skills. For me personally, it's important that I use good language -- using positive words to speak to children.
