About Indigo

I'd describe my personality as friendly, bright, and empathetic! I enjoy caring for seniors because I enjoy people! I love learning about their lives, having a laugh, and being able to provide whatever assistance they may need. I also love to share my passions with the seniors I work with, namely crochet, art, puzzles, and singing! I started caring for seniors when I worked at Aegis Living as a life enrichment assistant. I adore working with people, and it was an amazing position being able to bring fun, laughter, and emotional connection to their lives. In my spare time, I like to crochet, paint, embroider and sew clothing, and I LOVE to cook! I also love to play with my two cats, Scooby and Velma. My skills include active listening to ensure that I am providing personalized care for every unique individual, compassion for people who have led all kinds of complex lives, and patience as I believe everyone deserves to be heard and given time to express their needs.
