About Imani

In fall 2023, I started my masters degree at UIC for social work with a focus in School social work following almost 2 years of working with school aged and middle school students. This past year I have been working as a nanny for a family with 2 children ages 2 and 4 for two full days a week. I engaged in activity creation, creation of a rewards system for progressive behaviors, taught basic ASL to the older two children, and took them on day trips to parks, libraries, and children's museums. I would love to help your family in any way that I can! I am trying to support myself as I finish my graduate program and every opportunity is greatly appreciated and will be handled with the utmost respect and love- in the 2025-26 year I will be taking a year off before I finish my program so I am available M-F with flexible times :) I like to read books, do crafts (pottery, crochet, bracelet weaving, embroidery, etc), play video games and more!
