About Imani

In fall 2023, I started my masters degree at UIC for social work with a focus in School social work following almost 2 years of working with school aged and middle school students. This past year I worked as an intellectual aide to students on the spectrum, or struggled with learning/behavioral disability. I assisted students in accomplishing day to day educational tasks, as well as day to day social interactions that may have been more difficult for him. This experience has greatly changed how I engage with youth, and has increased my level of patience and attention different children need in order to thrive. I would love to help your family in any way that I can! I am trying to support myself as I finish my graduate program and every opportunity is greatly appreciated and will be handled with the utmost respect and love I like to read books, do crafts (pottery, crochet, bracelet weaving, embroidery, etc), play video games and more!
