About Imani

Hello, I'm Imani! I bring 4 years of experience caring for kids through regular babysitting/nanny roles, 2 summers as a counselor for the Chicago Park District, and time as a daycare/preschool aide at a home-based center. I've worked with children ages 18 months to 10 years old, confidently managing groups of 4-6 while still giving each child the care and attention they deserve. I encourage creativity, confidence, and curiosity through educational activities, developmental play, and engaging routines. I'm also comfortable with meal prep, diaper changes, potty training, and administering medications. Outside of childcare, I work in a federally vetted position and am a grad student, so you can trust that your kids are in responsible, capable hands.
