About Imani

Hi, I'm Imani-grad student and former fed-jumping back into babysitting with a full heart and both feet. I moved to Baltimore from Chicago for a role at the Center for Medicare, but was recently impacted by the government-wide layoffs. Now that I have the time and space, I'm returning to something I've always loved: caring for kids. I bring 4 years of experience with children of all ages-from babysitting and camp counseling to working in daycare settings. I've confidently managed groups of 4-6 kids, always making sure each one feels seen, safe, and supported. Outside of childcare, I study science writing and public health at Hopkins, and bring curiosity and creativity to everything I do (with a soft spot for story time). Evenings, weekends, or last-minute needs-I'm available and happy to help. Baltimore already feels like home, and I'm hoping to stay rooted here by connecting with great families in the area.
