About Ilsa

I am a certified teacher with eight years of experience, looking to leave the classroom in favor of private tutoring or nannying. I have a master's degree in Early Childhood Curriculum and Instruction, as well as my bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. I specialize in reading acquisition, and have both my Reading and ESOL endorsements. I offer two services. First, I provide a diagnostic service, where I will evaluate your child by giving them a series of assessments to determine what their reading deficits are, and create a personalized plan to help them acquire those skills. Second, I am looking for a full time position with a family or families to provide private homeschooling and/or full time daycare.
