About Ikjot

I am about to graduate in the spring from UCSB with a B. S. in Psychological and Brain Sciences, as well as a minor in Applied Psychology. My schedule will be pretty open in summer so I can do both regular nannying and/or occasional babysitting. I have three years of professional experience working with kids ages 3 months to 5 years old at the UCSB Children's Center. I've worked closely with all these ages and I am more than comfortable taking care of children of any age, including older kids. I've taken many courses in child development and early childhood education, and I am in the process of becoming ECE-Certified, as well as getting my first aid and CPR certification. I have a large dog and a cat at home and I love ALL animals, so pets are definitely not a problem for me! I have a safe car and a clean driving record if the kiddos need transportation. I am also willing to help with homework, housework/chores, and errands!
